Darren Averett
I honestly, could not think of a profession I would rather do, as I truly enjoy helping others improve their health and regain their desired lifestyle.
Education:
- I received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University in 1997.
- My undergraduate degree was from Brigham Young University where I received an MS in exercise science.
- I continue to develop my skills professionally by attending continuing education courses in manual therapy, advanced orthopedics, and industrial physical therapy.
Special Interests:
- I have been practicing primarily in orthopedics since 1997. This has always been my main practice interest.
- Ergonomics and workplace injury prevention is a passion of mine where I feel I can affect people before injuries occur. I have trained and evaluated many companies in Utah Valley and beyond.
- Home care is an area of practice where I feel I can effectively help people adapt to their personal living environment and get to know them on a different level as well.
